This landscape is located on a sunny slope in Basalt. The owners wanted a landscape for children to romp, run, and play in. The spaces are a combination of low-maintenance perennial flowers with grasses—fenced-in for the dogs—and a wall of various local rock that displays the artist-owner's sculpture.

Hollins' home is in a neighborhood which is full of kids who play on the lawn. Notable Plantings designed a low-maintenance/low-water use outdoor space.
